Evangelia Georgiou is an Associate Director of DI Ross. During her 15 years in the accounting profession she has amassed a great deal of exposure to all aspects of complex accounting matters as well as an up-to-date knowledge of the IFRS and their application.
She specialises in dealing with large international conglomerates and primarily deals with complex consolidation and merger engagements that require conversion of local GAAP into IFRS, multi-currency reporting and translations, the purchase and sale of Treasury Shares and changes to Group structures.
She joined our group in 2006 having been in the audit and accounting profession since 2001. She is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant.
Christina Takka heads our in-house legal department. Her practice focuses on advising international clients predominantly on corporate law matters and transactions, but also on investment, banking and finance, fiduciary services and trusts. She deals with reviewing and drafting of agreements, company redomiciliations, as well as migration matters and investment schemes.
Christina holds the office of the anti-money laundering and risk compliance officer for our company.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina completed a Traineeship (“Stage”) at the European Commission. She passed the Cyprus Bar Association examination in 2012. Christina obtained an LLB (Hons) at the University of Surrey and an LLM (Hons) in Commercial and Corporate Law at Queen Mary University of London.
Tatiana Kozlova joined the Group in 2014. Prior to MeritServus, she spent two years as a salesperson for Anixter, a Fortune 500 company focused on telecom & security. Within our group, she has expanded the company’s sales network and developed new business in the underwriting of Eurobonds, fund registration and management, as well as the listing of securities on small exchanges.
Tatiana led our involvement as co-underwriter on a Kazakh Eurobond issue of a subsidiary of “KazTransGas.” This matter resulted in considerable media coverage, being the first such issue denominated in Kazakh tenge and be settleable on Euroclear. She is currently the director of our underwriting unit and she passed the CySEC Advanced Financial Services Legal Framework (FCA or Series 7 equivalent) in the 90th percentile.
Tatiana has an undergraduate degree in Financial Management from Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law in Russia.
Elena Paraskevaidou is a manager in our accountancy department with over ten years of experience. Elena has worked within the group since 2006, acquiring specialized knowledge of IFRS and Cyprus VAT and tax.
Elena’s all around accounting skills are highly sought after by her clients. She has been dealing with a variety of companies including CySec regulated investment firms, large groups for consolidation reporting purposes and hotel operating companies.
She holds a BA majoring in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in the United States and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant.
Marilena Konnari is a legal consultant in our in-house legal department. Marilena has developed important knowledge and experience with investments funds and has dealt extensively with regulators regarding Cypriot and foreign exchanges. Her recent work includes the licensing of alternative investments funds, listings on secondary markets, as well as transactional work in the real estate, financial services, and IT sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Marilena was working at the National Supervisory Authority of the Department of Civil Aviation of Cyprus. She passed the Cyprus Bar Association examination and twice a graduate of the University of Central Lancashire (LLB Law with Honours; European Commercial LLM) in the United Kingdom.
Georgia Siakou joined DI Ross in 2008. She is an experienced professional in the Financial Reporting Services department. She deals daily with IFRS matters and processing tax computations for entities with diverse income statements.
Georgia has 15 years relevant experience and her clients include a leading global manufacturer and supplier of steel pipes for the oil and gas industry, as well as a family office with investments in electricity, pulp and paper processing, insurance and banking.
Georgia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Business Administration and Accounting from Athens University of Economics and Business in Greece.
